There's a local store (but it's a large chain) where my family buys most of our clothing. It's the kind of place where the deals are so good, they make you feel as if they've paid you for the stuff you bought. There's always a sale. Then there are scratcher cards that offer 10-30% discounts on your entire purchase. In addition to those perks, if you spend over a certain amount per year, you get a credit. Most of the garments are stylish. They don't last terrifically long, but it doesn't really matter. They costs so little and the fashion trends change anyway. It's the shoes, however, that I take slight issue with. They offer brand name athletic shoes. Sometimes I'll find a great pair I can wear to the gym. Walking around shoes and boots are also a good find. But when it comes to decent running shoes or shoes for my kids to use for track practice, I have to go better quality. When you care about your feet (and your performance) spending more on really good sneakers/running shoes really matters. I like ASICS as a brand and ASICS.com offers a fine selection. Lately, I'm glad to see that black is back. I like the vivid colors as a highlight, but I haven't been nuts about the overall wild-color shoes craze. The new Gel-Quantums look great. I won't know how they feel until I order and try them on, but the website descriptions give accurate details about weight and heel height.
