As far back as I can remember, firearms have been an important part of my life. I remember my dad giving me my first safety lesson when I was about six, right before I got a BB gun for Christmas. He was an NRA Member and certified instructor, so it was always safety first. When I proved I could handle the BB gun, I moved up to my first rifle. It was a nice .22 that I used to hunt squirrels and other small game in the woods of Michigan. We lived way out in the boonies, and that rifle, along with my dad, helped put some extra food on the table. Hunting and firearms traditions run deep in my family. My father and both granddads were all veterans and hunters. They also collected quality firearms, including some nice sporting shotguns. That was where I was first introduced to the Beretta brand-my dad's dad had a beautiful Beretta over/under shotgun that he used to hunt waterfowl. He did some trap and skeet shooting with it (so do I) in the offseason to stay sharp. As a Beretta fan, I'm really impressed with Beretta.com. It has just about everything a Beretta fan like me could want. Everything from registering new guns for warranty, clothes and accessories, and lots of information. The prices are a little outrageous on some of the clothes, but I did snag a nice shooting vest and a sweater from the outlet. I'll visit the site again, I'm sure.
