I remember that show America's Top Model. I think they had a version of the series in a bunch of different countries. It was fun to watch because some of the girls were so plain when they started. They were all either tall, skinny, or had interesting facial features. I remember thinking that some of the girls weren't that attractive. But then once they had their hair done and their make-up, it was a different story. I also recall that they actually had to "model" clothing. Just because their face or body looked good, it didn't mean they could "sell" the item. Sometimes you wouldn't even notice what they were wearing, which was ironic. It's actually the model's job to show off a product. The ones that make it big time in the business can sell you anything with their eyes or their smile. That's why I thought it was strange when I went to check out Chicme.com. None of the models on their site have a face. The photography basically cuts the heads off the women and just displays the body and the outfit. What's even more bizarre is that most of the models have huge breast implants. So even then, you're not really looking at the product. Personally, I think most of their looks are pretty trashy. I know they are popular and trendy, but maybe I'm just a prude. Or maybe I prefer taste to exhibitionism. If you like that stuff, the prices on the site are very affordable.
