About Hockey World:
Like many kids in the Northeast, I grew up as a hockey fan. Not just a fan, but a player, as well. As soon as the pond froze over in the winter, all the kids would be out skating and playing hockey. I played broom hockey almost as soon as I could walk, and I was skating soon after. In warmer weather, I played in a league at the indoor rink near my house. Since I'm from outside of Boston, I was a Bruins fan from an early age. My life was consumed by hockey as a child-either playing or watching it and memorizing stats. Posters on my walls, jerseys, Stanley Cup replicas and pucks, you name it, I had it. I played on my high school team and throughout college. When my career took me out to California, I thought that would be the end of my hockey days. Luckily, I found an adult league at a rink about 15 minutes from my house. It's pretty competitive, but I still have all my teeth (so far.) Sometimes, finding gear can be a pain, so I'm glad I was referred to Hockey World.com. The name really says it all. If it's hockey (or lacrosse) they have you covered in spades! Some of the items are pricier compared to other places, but they have great sales and clearance items. I picked up some sweet CCM skates at a discount and some spare gloves for a steal. I'll be coming back to this site.
