My daughter is really adorable. She's bubbly, has a great personality, and a great little figure. I say little because she's a few inches shorter than I am. When I was her age (17), I was built like Popsicle stick. I was tall and thin and had zero curves. I really didn't develop a womanly figure until I was in my late twenties. My girl has subtle curves. She's very athletic, so her muscle tone is excellent. And also, when you're young, your skin is taut. There's not the look of anything hanging or waving in the wind (like my upper arms.). My daughter and I like to shop together. I'm not judgmental about her choices although she can be a bit critical of things I pick out for myself. That's probably one of the reasons I like to go with her is because she doesn't let me buy fuddy-duddy clothes. She encourages me to try modern styles, without trying to dress to young for my age. We recently went bathing suit shopping, which I usually despise. I'm way too self-conscious of my body. My daughter tried on some really cute bikinis. We found a couple online at LSpace.com. They're perfect for her shape. You also order the top and bottom separately, which is better for sizing. Also, the styles are simple so you can mix and match. The price tag, however, is outrageous. She didn't seem to think $90 was too much for a bikini top, but I certainly did.
