It's amazing how technology has changed the face of so many everyday items. It's affected how products are designed, created, manufactured, and marketed. Even as recent as 15 years ago, most people took photographs with cameras and real film. Getting film developed was a process that only specialty stores provided. Then, chain drug stores and some grocery stores offered "send out" film for prints. You would get your pictures back in about a week. Rush delivery began a few years after that, for an extra fee, and that took 2-3 days. Then, film companies began including, with your prints, a CD so you could download your photos onto your computer. Finally, the world all pretty much uses digital photography and "tada!" you "develop" your pictures yourself by connecting your camera to your computer and there are your photos in seconds. Printing, however, although home capabilities are getting better, can still be done less expensively and with a better quality if you send your digital media to a lab or online specialty source.
There are tons of printing sites. OvernightPrints.com has an item that I thought was pretty unique. They call it the Fat business card. Basically it's a thick card stock. I like this because I couldn't do this on my home printer and also it's more durable when handing it to someone. OvernightPrints can ship your order literally overnight, which is a bonus.
