At work we always gather at lunchtime to discuss non-work topics. We usually discuss the latest movies released or which shows we're binge-watching on our TVs or computer screens. I actually just signed up for a monthly "watching " subscription and cancelled my cable service. I really don't care what's on network prime time any longer. I much prefer to see the original series and then watch them as I can. As many at a time! It really makes for fun conversation in the lunchroom. Of course another topic we love is fashion. I'm not a huge clotheshorse, but I like tips on current styles. I don't shop much so the input is welcomed. The same goes for cosmetics and other skin products. I do a lot of my shopping online, logging into shops that have been personally recommended. The other thing I do when I'm perusing the sites is I read everything about the products. I don't just look at pictures or reviews. I want to be informed before I make a purchase. For example, Rita told me about this anti-aging skin cream she uses and adores. I went to PaulasChoice.com, which she suggested. I saw an interesting product- a face serum with SPF 30. I'm all for sunscreen. I noticed that the cream said, "a combination of plant-based ingredients." I'm also a stickler for safe, natural elements in my skin-care creams. I think it was priced well, and although it had chemicals like avobenzone in it, I might consider trying it.
