About Savory Spice Shop:
I grew up in a metropolis where dinners were made real fast or grabbed at the local diner. Both my parents worked fulltime and meals weren't really cherished. It was more about giving us kids some fuel so that we could focus to do our homework and then have a little time to watch TV with the family. It's so funny how things change when you have your own family. I have grown to love food-I am obsessed with different cultures, flavors, and traditions. For example, I had only ever had an egg cooked sunny side up. I remember having scrambled eggs at a friend's house and thought they were just OK. It wasn't until I got married that my husband made scrambled eggs with cheese and salsa on a tortilla that I discovered true egg-deliciousness. Most people will laugh, but I never barbecued before either. I mean, I tried barbeque chicken from a take-out place, but we never had a grill or anything remotely like it. Of course, now that my hubby introduced me to true grilling, we barbeque almost every weekend. I am always on the lookout for new sauces and spices. I found the most helpful (and fun) item online at SavorySpiceShop.com. They sell a product called "Cue Glue. It's a mustard mixture that you rub on the meat and it allows your spices to stick while on the grill. It's beautifully priced and contains no artificial ingredients or preservatives. The site also lists great recipes.
