About Wind & Weather:
My mother in law is really hard to shop for. It's funny because I really want to please her. Besides the fact that she's my husband's mother, I really like her. Go figure. But she's the type of person who always puts a ton of thought into gift giving. Every year she gets me the most perfect presents-things I wouldn't buy for myself, but that I just love. In addition to random, well thought-out items, she always tosses in a pair of socks. They are always unique and comfortable. I feel like that shows a lot of care. So anyway, I put a lot of pressure on myself when it comes time to treating her. She enjoys playing golf, but there are only so many pairs of gloves, towels, balls, etc. to give a golfer. She and her husband also like to travel, so I've gotten her neck pillows, monogrammed hand towels, and other assorted travel accessories. I peruse the Internet for ideas all year long and when I see something, I bookmark it for the time when I'm about to buy her something. The other thing she spends time doing is gardening. I've gotten her nice gloves in the past, which she appreciated. WindandWeather.com has precious, personalized garden plaques. I like that they're metal and weatherproof somewhat. The one with the owl is cute, but it seems small. I'm not sure if they had a larger one that I would get that anyway because it's a bit pricey.
